Added through the Shopify theme editor and positioned near the buy button, where the decision is actually made.

Calculated on every page view

The calculation runs in the shopper's browser at the moment the page loads — nothing cached, nothing stored, so it can't go stale.

The promise is recorded at checkout

On Growth and above, the promised delivery date is captured with the order — a record of what the shopper was actually told.

Promise compared against reality

Fulfilment events are matched back to the promise: kept, at risk, or missed — surfaced in the Deliveries dashboard.

Steps 4 and 5 are built and tested — they're waiting on Shopify's approval for order and fulfilment data before switching on at full scope. See “What's next” below.

What exactly do shoppers see?+

Will this slow down my store?+

No. The storefront code is under 10 KB, loads no external libraries, and never makes a network request — it reads a setting your shop already stores and calculates the date right there in the browser.

How does it handle holidays and weekends?+

You mark your shop's non-working days and any closed periods once — a public holiday, a shutdown week, whatever applies to you — and DeliverBy skips them automatically when it counts preparation and transit days forward.

Does it work in more than one language?+

Yes — English and French are built in, for both the sentence shoppers read and the admin screens you use to manage it.

What happens if a setting is missing or something doesn't add up?+

The block shows nothing at all. It's built to never display “NaN,” “Invalid Date,” or a broken sentence — silence is always safer than a wrong promise.

What data does DeliverBy need access to?+

Just enough to do the job: your products, to show the block, and — once order tracking is fully approved — order and fulfillment events, so it can record the date it promised and compare it to what actually happened. Never payment details.

Can I write my own wording?+

Yes. Pick from a few ready-made styles, or write your own sentence in your own words, in either language.

Is DeliverBy on the Shopify App Store yet?+
